VILLAIN WEEK- ARLONG

ARLONG- SUN PIRATES

As you can see by his appearance in the picture, he is not a human. He is a Merman of fictional One Piece series and to tell you straight, quite a strong one. A Merman can breathe underwater too and their strength increases in the water. Wearing a Yellow jacket, he was the culprit of spoiling Nami's childhood.At a very tender age, she joined to Arlong's crew and started drawing maps for him. Arlong was, as all villains are, cruel. 

 

QUITE A LOT OF HISTORY HAS BEEN TOLD ABOUT THE SUN PIRATES AND ARLONG IN THE LATER EPISODES OF THE SERIES BUT I WANT TO KEEP IT SIMPLE SO I AM DISCUSSING WHAT HAPPENED IN THE ARLONG ARC ONLY.

DEVIL FRUIT: NONE

PERSONALITY: Cruel, merciless, and merciless and manipulative. He blackmailed her that she had to work with them for the sake of the lives of the villagers. They both had decided that Arlong with the Cocoyashi village and nami herself go if she saved 100 million berries(Currency in One Piece). But she wanted to "use" her for some more time so he designed a trick and stole all her money. He always had prejudice that humans are there to lie below Merman. While in the grand fight with luffy, he showed this mindset quite a few times.

ABILITY AND POWER: Arlong was the most powerful Villain of East Blue. Having a power of a shark, just throwing some water on his opponents feels like shotgun to other. Can dart anywhere with great velocity from land or water. His eyes turned when he became angry after a beating by Luffy.

STORY: It all started 8 years ago when Arlong came to Cocoyashi village and attacked it.After establishing his rule there, he desire was to rule the entire world. After his eye watched the talent possessed by Nami, he blackmailed her that if she works for them and draw maps till she saves 100 million, he would spare Cocoyashi villagers and after she collects the required money, she will let her go. For the sake of the villagers, she joined Arlong and started drawing maps for them. She continued making maps for Arlong for 8 years until she had collected 100 million. But Arlong did not wanted to let Nami go, so he thought of an Evil scheme to steal Nami's Money.

When Nami was tired of living this life and was about to kill herself, Luffy stopped from her doing so and went to fight Arlong. After a series of events, Arlong's every men was down and it was a showdown between Arlong and Luffy. But when the fight reached the Cartography room, where Nami used to draw maps, Luffy got very angry and started to destroy the room along with the maps. Arlong trying to stop him from doing so, was defeated by Luffy.
